This is a replacement tip for a DynaVap. The tip is the metal end that holds your load and gets hot. The M7 is finless, meaning it has no fins around it, and it is built for even heating and less heat travelling up the stem, the part you hold. It fits standard DynaVap stems and bodies.

How it heats

A DynaVap is heated from outside, with a torch (a small flame) or an induction heater (which warms the metal with a magnetic field instead). The M7 has extra chamber mass, meaning more metal to hold the heat, and it spreads heat evenly to help reduce hot spots. Less heat passes from the tip to the stem. Adjust-a-Bowl lets you reduce the chamber size.

With a torch, rotate the device while you heat. The cap clicks when the tip reaches temperature. Wait for the cool-down click before you heat again.

The Captive Cap and the Armored Cap both fit. The Armored Cap takes longer to heat and cool.
