Getting the most out your Arizer Device
Kia ora whΔnau. This page is for people who already own an Arizer dry herb vaporiser. Here is what the parts are, what wears, how to clean them and what fits what.
The parts
- Glass aroma tube. The glass tube you draw through. Some people call it a stem.
- Screen. A stainless steel dome screen or a flat screen. It keeps fine particles in the chamber while air passes through.
- Air filter. The XQ2 has an air filter cartridge on its fan intake.
What wears
Think of the lint trap in a clothes dryer. Air has to get through it, and when it clogs, the airflow drops. A screen works the same way.
Over extended use, sticky material builds up inside the glass tubes and heater covers. When the draw tightens, clean the screen or replace it.
On the XQ2, replace the air filter cartridge from time to time to keep the fan intake clean.

Cleaning
Clean glass with isopropyl alcohol. Let it dry completely before you use it again. Isopropyl alcohol is flammable, so keep it away from heat and flame. If a glass tube is chipped, replace it.
What fits what
Fit depends on the model. Check which Arizer model you own, and the size listed for the part, before you match a tube.
Air MAX: batteries
The Air MAX uses removable 26650 lithium-ion cells. 26650 is the cell's size, so a replacement cell or a charger has to match it. A cell naturally loses capacity over hundreds of charge cycles. An external charger charges a cell outside the device.
XQ2: whip or balloon
The XQ2 has two ways to deliver vapour. A silicone whip is a hose you draw through directly. A balloon is a bag that fills with vapour, and you draw from the bag. Balloon bags and silicone connectors are separate parts, so you can swap either one.
