This is a replacement cap for a standard DynaVap tip. The tip is the end of a DynaVap that you heat, and the cap is the part that clicks to tell you the heating is done. This version has little side indents that help it stay on the tip.

What it does

It clicks as it heats up and clicks again as it cools down. While you heat it with a torch (a small flame you hold to the tip), it spins freely. There are no batteries. The heat comes from the torch or a compatible induction heater, which is an electric heater used instead of a flame.

The original Cap holds on by friction, a snug push-on grip. This one uses the side indents instead.

It is not for HyperDyn tips, which have a larger diameter.
