Adjusting Depth: Screw the depth adjuster down (deeper) for thicker clouds. Screw it up (shallower) for better flavour.

Standard Captive Cap (Stainless Steel or Titanium)

Flavour Sipper:

• Power: 30W – 35W
• Timer: ~25s
• Technique: Respect the click

One-Hit Extraction (OHE):

• Power: 45W – 50W
• Timer: ~15s
• Technique: Go 1-2 seconds past the click

Armoured Cap / Copper FMJ

• Power: 55W – 60W (or use 70W Boost Mode)
• Timer: Set to 60s max to avoid cutoff; usually clicks around 35-45s
• Technique: These add significant mass. You need high power to penetrate the metal.

Simrell Perforated Cap

• Power: 40W
• Technique: Because these caps have more airflow/holes, they heat differently. Mid-range wattage works best to avoid hot-spotting.

Critical User Watch-Outs

Battery Requirements: You need high-discharge 18650 batteries rated 20A or higher. We recommend Molicel P28A or Samsung 25R. If you use low-amp batteries (like those for flashlights), the device will throttle down to 30W automatically even if you set it to 60W.

Sensor Issue: Occasionally, the device may not detect the DynaVap if the screw is too low (too deep). If it doesn't start heating, raise the screw slightly.

Depth Tool Location: The tool to adjust the depth is magnetically attached inside the battery door. Keep it there so you don't lose it!

Depth Adjustment for Precision Control

A mechanical screw in the battery bay allows you to raise or lower the heating coil base. This lets you choose between heating the "tip" (better flavour) or the "base" (denser clouds).

Standard Setup: Most users set the screw so the top of the DynaVap cap sits flush with the top of the heater magnet.

Tip: The depth adjustment tool is magnetically attached inside the battery door - don't lose it!
