A water pipe adapter, or WPA, is the piece that lets a vaporiser join a bubbler. A bubbler is a glass piece with water in it. This one is called universal because one adapter covers three joint sizes. It is made of borosilicate glass, a type of glass.
What it does
With the adapter on, the vapour goes through water before it reaches you. The water cools the vapour, and it also catches stray bits of herb that get into it.
